Industrial Electric Motor Works, INC. began in 1965 when Thomas McDaniel, founder and current CEO, purchased a small electric motor repair business in Meridian, Mississippi. Sons Tony, who currently handles sales, and Stephen, who is involved in service and repair, joined Tom in the business as it grew. The facility, currently located at 1551 Redman Road in Meridian, warehouses a large quantity of new and used electric motors, reducers, and controls. It also houses a repair shop capable of handling motors up to 2000 HP.
